She speaks four languages—Japanese, Turkish, English, and German—and emphasizes that she is not a language prodigy. While learning German, she cried every day. She thinks the emphasis in language learning should be on output rather than input, meaning the focus should be on speaking and writing rather than listening and reading. She cited a Japanese book that suggests the ideal input-to-output ratio should be 3:7, but most people do the opposite. Therefore, she recommends practicing speaking and writing more.

2.Practice summarizing the conclusions of videos in your own words!

When learning English, she realized she was overly reliant on input learning. She learned through watching YouTube videos, but she didn't have many practical opportunities. So, she would summarize them in her own words after watching each video and pretend to explain them to an imaginary friend. This method worked very well for her, but she believes there are better options.

3.Don't be afraid to practice.

Courage is essential in the process of language learning because people will mock your accent or grammar mistakes. But what matters is how you see yourself—if you like your accent or think you can improve it, there is no problem, especially when you are using a non-native language for communication in public. At the same time, she reminds learners to enjoy the process of learning rather than pursue perfection excessively. In her opinion, when you find joy in learning, you can more easily motivate yourself.
